Latest Reuters poll results now published 18 July
- only 30% chance of rate hike by year-end
- 2 out of 80 economists see tightening on Aug 3 meeting
- weak GDP and wage growth cited for delay
- UK economy to expand by 1.6% in 2017 and 1.3% in 2018 , unchanged from previous poll in June
- UK inflation to average 2.7% in 2017 ,2.65 in 2018 vs 2.6% for both prev.
The latest UK inflation data is out today at 08.30 GMT
GBPUSD currently finding sellers above 1.3100 again after holding 1.3050 yesterday. EURGBP just slipping back to look at 0.8800.
