The 'heavy' traffic index comes in at +1.1% m/m

• previous revised to +3.0% ( from +2.9%)

'Light' traffic index +1.5%

• prior -0.5%
• ANZ remarks on today's result:
• Suggests the economy may not have grown much at all in the September quarter
• But October and November data mean the dip was short-lived
• "The economy is at a delicate juncture, but the Light Traffic Index, which provides a forward-looking indicator of momentum in the economy, suggests we'll push through"
