Stocks extend the slide. Nasdaq and Dow down 1%.

Trading at session lows

The US stocks are continuing to slide with the S&P down -20.6 points or -0.83%. The Nasdaq is down -66 points or -1.02%. The Dow is down -217 points or 1% on the day.

Technically, the S&P is moving toward the 50 day MA at 2453.06. The low has reached 2455.77 so far.

The Nasdaq - which closed at a record level on Friday - has its 50 day MA down at 6295. The low today has reached 6367. So there is room before it hits that MA line.

• The 10 year yield is down 8.3 bp to 2.082%. The low reached 2.077% today.
• Gold is up $5.00 now at $1337.50. The high just reached $1339.04. The low from earlier, extended down to $1326.16.
• The USDJPY is trading to new session lows. The GBPUSD is looking to retests its highs for the day.
