US stocks end the day with gains

Major indices are up

The US major US stock indices are ending the day with modest gains.

• The S&P index is ending the day up 3.5 points or 0.14% to 2468.11
• The Nasdaq index is ending the day up 12.096 points or 0.19% to 6345.10
• The Dow is up 25.88 points or 0.12% at 22024.82.

The stock market was able to maneuver between the Pres. Trump headlines and the FOMC meeting minutes that overall weakened the dollar. A lower dollar is ok for earnings and stocks. It makes some sense in that respect.
